FRESHMARK WELCOMES MEEGAN GEORGE
The Freshmark Board is proud to announce that on Monday, 22 November, Meegan George will take over the position of Freshmark CEO. The Board undertook a rigorous and highly competitive selection process of more than 50 high calibre candidates, but it was Meegan’s wealth of experience from a business, governance and membership background that made her an outstanding choice.
About Meegan
Meegan has more than 20 years of international experience in global custody, financial planning, insurance and superannuation, with the last 10 years specialising in membership associations. Meegan’s recent leadership position was as Chief Operating Officer with the Governance Institute of Australia. Her remit was to drive operational excellence across the organisation, overseeing finance, Information Communication Technology, HR, risk and governance, property, leasing, insurance and legal.
Meegan also led a suite of transformational initiatives focusing on improving financial sustainability, growing revenue streams, improving membership engagement, marketing, partnerships, professional development and sales, whilst significantly expanding digital footprint and social media profiles.
“My first priority will be to meet with members, to take the time to get to know them, to truly listen and understand their pain points to allow me to establish a plan to meet their needs and provide true value to their business.

The appointment of Meegan George marks an exciting new chapter for Freshmark.
